The CHIEFTAINS were here!!!

Have any of you heard about the CHIEFTAINS???  They are the musical group that has brought traditional and some not so traditional Irish music into the hearts and homes all around the world.  They have been making and playing music together for 50 years next year!  Any ways, they performed up in Seattle at the Benny Royal Hall and here in Olympia at the Washington Center for performing ARTS on Wednesday evening.  What a great show...oh my goodness, and they had 2 guys from CANADA...their feet moved faster then anything I have ever seen, they were so good Dancing!

Hunter and  4 girls from the Comerford School of Irish Dance (from right here in Olympia) and the Olympia pipers also got to perform on stage with the Chieftains ...What an amazing experience!

We could not film or take any photos of the performance...but here are a few shots from back stage!

I LOVE ALL THIS BEAUTIFUL SNOW!!!!!!

Wow!  I just had 3 paragraphs and now they are gone...and THAT ladies is why you look at your fingers while we are typing!

So sorry to have closed the store on Thursday!  It was so snowy and blustery out in Rainier...I did not want to risk driving to town in my little car!

We will extend the USED PRODUCT SALE all week long.

We have 12 passports left to sell for the NORTHWEST PAPERCHASE....I know you don't want to be left out, once they are gone, I cannot get any more.

It starts in 2 weeks...I am so so excited.

Here are a few photos of my house and our street!

Have a great day and be safe!

SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!!

I love the snow...it makes everything clean and bright!  Driving is another matter, now don't get me wrong, I grew up in IOWA and I trained for driving in the WINTERTIME in the cemetery!  It is all the other knuckleheads out there driving that make it hazardous.

Had a delivery, yesterday, did you hear?  Yes, we got in some RIBBON BAGS and some flowers and a couple of printer trays, and a few other things.....

See you soon!  Enjoy all the Beauty!

Hi Ladies...I cannot believe it is Friday already!  Just a few things to tell you about.  The Pre-sales are in full swing for the SHOP HOP in March,  we have 15 left, and they are going quick, once they are gone....we will not be getting any more in.  There are 18 stores involved in the chase this year.  Unfortunately many have had to close in this last year.  But on a brighter note, it will be easier to get to all of them this year with 10 less stores.  I think most of you know, but I will say it again just in case...each store has picked a movie theme.  Ours is "The Phantom of the Opera"  We are busy making the make and takes now!  there is going to be a grand prize and a couple of other prizes if you get to all of the stores.  This year there is a bracelet and charms at each store.  That is fun.  Can't wait to see all of you for the "shop hop".

Also the Used Product Sale is next weekend.  So gather your unwanted items and price them and get them into the store by next week.  In-store credit is always a good thing!

Jen is doing a "getting to know your Cricut" class this Saturday...call the store if you are coming.

Carole is doing a dinner crop on the 26th of Feb. from 2 to 10 pm...call the store to sign up.

Enjoy your weekend!
Peace

Good Wednesday to you!

It is sunny for the moment, I will take that...I love the sunshine.  I heard that we may get some snow mixed with rain tonight....I do miss not having any snow yet this year, yes I know, most of you don't like the snow, but I do and I know my kids do too!

We received a huge shipment of proglider refills yesterday, doubles and triples.  AND...we got a new kind to try out.  It is called EXTREME TAC, you can use it on fabric, and metal and glass, and plastic, grunge board and chipboard...all kinds of things.

I am currently waiting for some NEW product to arrive, Prima, and Bo bunny is what will be coming next.  I have to speak with Carole, but I think we will also order the new garden line from ...oh I cannot think of it now.  What is it?  i don't know!

Carole is doing a "catch up crop"  on the 26th of Feb. from 2 to 10 pm here at the store for $10.00
